Traviera has a beautiful soul and a heart for children. She teaches middle school social studies Read 180 and aerobics to students of all ability levels. She makes learning interesting and fun. The best thing about Traviera is that she reaches outside of the classroom to let her students know they are her first priority. For instance you can often find her at baptism\’s baseball games and family events that her students invite her to. Traviera was recently named the Troup County School System Teacher of the Year because of her outstanding efforts in teaching her kids. The judges said she brings light into the classroom and truly cares about her students. Her colleagues said she is one of the best and most dedicated. Her students simply say they love her. If she is chosen as a winner she will be one of the most deserving and appreciative teachers!
