P.J. Battaglia has been teaching 16 years in Broward County Public schools. P.J. has been at Westglades Middle for 16 years teaching Social Studies and Physical Education. P.J. has been the Athletic Director since the 2013 school year. Mr. Battaglia is very dedicated to his students and making his school a better place. P.J. is one of the Union Stewards and serves on Faculty Council. He was the 2012-13 Westglades Social Studies Teacher of the Year, 2018-19 Westglades Teacher of the Year, and the 2021-2022 MSAA Athletic Director of the Year.
