Mr. Bona works tirelessly to help students achieve their highest success. He teaches Microsoft Industry Certification and Introduction to coding to middle school students. When the students complete the 3 year program they receive a Microsoft Certification in PowerPoint Word and Excel and also have knowledge of programming languages JavaScript HTML & CSS and Python. He is the chair person for the school fundraiser which helps offset the cost of the 8th grade end of year dance and the 8th grade end of year field trip. This two day event raises on average of $25K for the school for various projects. Most of that money is spent on new student laptops and other technology that helps enhance the student learning. He is the department chair for his department and is very vocal about supporting his teachers.
